Edmonton Region Child Care Association celebrates each year an event advocating for the importance of out of school care;
called Lights on After School. Many of our programs cater to out of school care children, and we believe that OOSC
programs are integral to Edmonton communities.
Celebrating each year with all stakeholders, we believe this sheds a light on the importance of OOSC.

2024-2025 Affordability Grant Funding
With Alberta’s commitment to make child care more affordable, they have released The Affordability Grant agreement for the term of January 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025 as the current grant expires on December 31, 2023. For more details, click on this link Alberta-Affordability Grant.
